How can I participate? There are 3 ways to participate:
- Purchase a Children’s book at one of the four bookstores listed above and leave it with them to be given to the book drive. They will have you write your name and phone number on a ticket for each book you donate to put into the collection jar for the prize drawing.
- You may also call any of the bookstores to purchase a book over the phone and pay with a credit card. They will add your book to the book drive pile and will put your name and phone number on a prize ticket and put it in the collection jar for you. *If you know someone who lives far away, but wants to participate, this is a great way for them to help the community and possibly win!
- You may purchase books from Belonging Books online or by emailing info@belongingbookscapecod.com. They will add your name and phone number to a prize drawing ticket for each book you donate!

How will I find out if I won any of the prizes?
- On Friday June 21, at the 7pm Chatham Anglers’ HOME baseball game, 10 tickets will be drawn, and the winners’ names will be announced. If not present, winners will be contacted by phone. Prizes can be mailed anywhere in the United States.

Who will the donated children’s books be given to?
- All the children’s books will be distributed to children (age 0 to 10) of families in need who live in Harwich and Chatham.

Who will distribute the donated books?
- The Monomoy Early Childhood Family Resource Center, at the Harwich Elementary School, will distribute the books to children identified in collaboration with the Monomoy elementary school guidance counselors and teachers, the Harwich Children’s Fund, Chatham Children’s Fund, Cape Cod Family Pantry, Hands of Hope Food Pantry, Food 4 Kids, and WIC (Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program).
- The Monomoy Early Childhood Family Resource Center, at the Harwich Elementary School, will distribute the books to children identified in collaboration with the Monomoy elementary school guidance counselors and teachers, the Harwich Children’s Fund, Chatham Children’s Fund, Cape Cod Family Pantry, Hands of Hope Food Pantry, Food 4 Kids, and WIC (Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program).
