May 10, 2023 -- On Sunday, May 7, Monomoy Regional High School’s National Art Honor Society hosted an art show in collaboration with Maplewood Senior Living in Brewster. The show, called Bridging The Generation Gap Through Art, featured works from both Maplewood residents and students. From paintings, to ceramics, to weaving, the show featured a variety of mediums, styles, and ages.
At the reception, students met the residents they were paired with and got to know them, as well as their artistic style and accomplishments.
Monomoy’s NAHS has enjoyed its relationship with Maplewood residents since hosting a coloring and expression activity in February. Everyone who participated is excited to work together in the future and share their passion for being creative!
