Monomoy Regional High School inducts new members into National Honor Society
On Friday, January 24, 2025, Monomoy Regional High School inducted new members into the National Honor Society. The Monomoy Regional High School chapter of the National Honor Society includes students in grades 11 and 12 who have been invited to apply for membership based on their outstanding academic achievement and whose applications have been thoroughly considered based upon the six pillars of character; trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship, as well as their commitment to leadership and service. The event featured a welcome from NHS Advisor Mary Hemeon, keynote from MRHS educator Cheri Armstrong, and a candle-lighting ceremony by the current NHS officers, Lucy Bates, Hillevi Segerson, Emily Layton, Anna Carey, and Chloe Thompson. The inductees were presented with their certificates by Principal Jennifer Police.
