Your active involvement
in your child's education
is vital for their success

Website

The MRSD website is home to information about our district, our schools, our educators and staff, and also offers a variety of resources. There is a main district site, as well as a site for each school. You can find our website accessibility information here. If you have questions or comments about our website, please email webmaster@monomoy.edu.

Electronic Messages

Mass Notifications – One-way school and district communications

The school district uses an automated communication system called Finalsite Messages to contact and inform caregivers and staff about important school and district events and announcements. Messages may be sent via phone, email, text/SMS, and the Monomoy app, depending on the specific circumstances. The free Monomoy mobile app can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play. Automated phone calls will be reserved for the most urgent, time-sensitive messages; most messages and updates will be sent via email, text, and the Monomoy app.

ReachMyTeach – One-way and two-way teacher communications

For the 2025-2026 school year, MRSD is piloting a new tool for communication between teachers and families/students. Reach My Teach allows for both one-way and two-way messaging that is fully translatable and accessible. Messages from teachers will be sent directly to the recipient's email/text, and are also available in the Reach My Teach web portal or app.  Find ReachMyTeach resources and information here.

Please make sure that the school has your current and correct phone and email contact information on file in our student information system, Aspen. In case of urgent communication related to school closings, delays, or other emergencies, this system allows for immediate messaging. All messages sent via Blackboard Mass Notifications and Reach My Teach will be automatically translated into the recipient’s preferred language, as listed in Aspen.

Monomoy App

The Monomoy app is a free tool to help users connect with MRSD and our schools. The app features news updates, messages, calendars, directory information, and more. It can be downloaded from the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.

Social Media

The Monomoy Regional School District social media accounts are provided for the school community by MRSD. The intent is to create additional means for the district to share photos and videos of school happenings, announce events, spread news, and highlight student and staff achievement. In times of inclement weather that necessitate school closing or other school-related emergencies, our social media accounts and website will be updated in conjunction with alerting families directly and via local media. Find our social media directory here.
