Saturday, October 30, at 1 p.m., there will be a ceremony at MRHS to designate the Route 137/Route 6 bridge in Harwich as the Hidden Wounds Memorial Bridge, in honor and recognition of all those who have suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, depression, anxiety, and other unseen ailments.
This award recognizes Russell’s contributions to the students of MRSD through his years of service on the school committee, as well as through the many activities in which he has participated as an advocate for children.
