Monomoy Early Childhood Council
The Monomoy Early Childhood Council, in partnership with the Monomoy School District, shares a commitment to ensure high quality information, education, and services to young children, their families, guardians, and providers in the Chatham and Harwich community. We are committed to increasing access to quality preschool experiences and support the Make Way For Kids preschool program for at risk and/or low to moderate income working families. Through fundraising efforts of the Friends of our council, we are able to fund emergency tuition assistance as well as access to free clothing, diapers, and nutritious food at the Monomoy Family Resource Center located in the Harwich Elementary School.
Office Hours with Lucy Gilmore, the Monomoy Family Resource Coordinator, are held at the Monomoy Family Resource Center, located in Harwich Elementary School, 263 South Street Harwich MA 02645.
Tuesdays 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Wednesdays 1 - 4 p.m.
Or by appointment by contacting Lucy at (508) 430-1692 or email@example.com
The majority of our funding, administered by the Cape Cod Children’s Place, is through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and the Children’s Trust Fund. The Monomoy Regional School District supports a vital preschool-to-kindergarten transition team as well as in-kind services and space for the Monomoy Family Resource Center and ongoing programs. The Council also raises funds through events sponsored by the Friends of the Monomoy Early Childhood Council. Friends' memberships as well as business sponsorship is welcome!
