All 7th grade students will travel to MRHS for Step Up Day on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The goal is for students to familiarize themselves with the building during a typical school day. All MRMS homerooms will be grouped with high school student leaders for tours, activities, lunch, and informational presentations about everything our school has to offer.

All parents and guardians of current Grade 7 students are encouraged to attend a Parent Night from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, in the cafeteria at MRHS. The agenda includes a presentation from counseling staff and school tours from current student leaders.

The MRHS Grade 8/New Student Orientation will be held Thursday, August 25, and Friday, August 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on a drop-in basis.

Grade 8 students and any students new to the district are encouraged to visit MRHS anytime between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. on 8/25 and 8/26. Please park at the rear of the school and enter through the Community Entrance.

Tours

Join a tour to get familiar with the building prior to the start of school! If you cannot attend on these dates, contact Grade 8 Counselor Caitlyn Hall at chall@monomoy.edu.

Chromebook Pickup

Chromebooks will be distributed to each student at the end of tours. The MRSD Chromebook Agreement must be signed by both the student and caregiver prior to receiving a Chromebook. Students who are unable to attend on 8/25 or 8/26 should contact Betsy Casey at bcasey@monomoy.edu to arrange an alternate pickup time.
