I moved to Cape Cod with my family in 2001 from central Masachusetts, and began teaching in the district in 2003. Currently I am a seventh grade special education teacher here at Monomoy Regional Middle School. I graduated from Syracuse University where I received my Bachelor’s degree. While there I participated in the SU Marching Band and the Sour Sitrus Society (basketball pep band). I received my Masters in Special Education at American International College.
I am the first ever female president of the Chatham Band and play the flute and piccolo in the band every Friday night in Kate Gould Park. I am also the chapter leader of the Chatham chapter of Dining for Women - a group that funds projects to help women and girls in the developing world achieve their potential, gain equality, and overcome economic limitations and social bias.
Besides music, I enjoy running, gardening and DIY home improvement projects.
