Raised in Queens, New York, Mr. De La Vega has lived in Upstate New York; Pennsylvania, PA; Charleston, SC; South Boston; Easton, MA, and now Harwich! Before coming to Monomoy he's taught team sports, dance, and gymnastics in the Norfolk school district and supervised the ropes course in the summers at Camp West Woods in Stoughton, MA. He also brings with him a wealth of coaching experience having been a coach for the King Philip Wrestling team for many years. In his free time, he enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fishing, kayaking, and entertaining his children: Ben and Rebecca.
