I am starting my 28th year of teaching here on Cape Cod, and I am thrilled we are back to in-person learning! I have taught English every year, but I have also taught both music and history in the past. I enjoy working collaboratively with my colleagues to design units that are interdisciplinary so that each learning experience helps students out in more than one subject. I can often be found in the music wing of the school practicing with the Monomoy Ringers, our high school bell choir and in the auditorium with the Drama Club. Come and see The Brightest Thing, our fall drama production, this November! Yes, I am married to Mr. Barnes, the middle school STEM teacher, and our daughter is a recent MRHS graduate. I enjoy reading (no surprise there), fiber arts, cooking, music of all kinds, and traveling to new places.
