I grew up in Chelmsford, MA and graduated from Fitchburg State College. I am certified in Special Education and Elementary Education. In addition, I am certified in Wilson Reading and have been trained in Orton Gillingham at the Associate level. 

I have been a teacher in Harwich for 23 years after teaching for one year in Lowell before moving to Cape Cod. I taught at Harwich Middle School for 2 years before moving to Harwich Elementary School where I was the Special education teacher for 2nd grade for 16 years. This is my sixth year as the 3rd grade Special Education teacher. When I am not at school you can usually find me at the soccer field or at the beach with my husband and two children, Ali and Thomas.
