I grew up in Chelmsford, MA and moved to the Cape after I got married.  I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Fitchburg State College. I am certified in Special Education and Elementary Education. In addition, I am certified in Wilson Reading and am an Associate with the Orton Gillingham Academy.

I have been a teacher in Harwich for 28 years, beginning my career at Harwich Middle School before moving to Harwich Elementary School, where I was the special education teacher for 2nd and 3rd grade. This is my third year as a reading teacher. When I am not at school, you can usually find me reading, at the beach, or hiking with my husband and two children, Ali and Thomas.
