I was born and raised in Chatham. I graduated Chatham High School in 2003 and after I completed my internship in a preschool classroom at Chatham Elementary School, my passion for wanting to be a teacher grew strong. I went to Keene State College in New Hampshire and graduated with two Bachelor's degrees, one in Education and one in General Science. I earned my master's degree in Elementary Education through American International College and I look forward to going back to school for my next certification. I LOVE SCIENCE, especially Geology. I began my teaching career at Harwich Middle School in 6th grade teaching Science and English and then onto Monomoy Middle School when we regionalized. I taught 4th grade at Chatham Elementary School for two years, 3rd grade at Harwich Elementary School for two years and this year I am looping with my class and returning to 4th grade at Harwich Elementary. Making the shift in grade levels has given me the opportunity to grow as an educator, be flexible, and acquire many tools to be a successful teacher. I consider myself very lucky to be a Monomoy teacher. 

I enjoy spending time all over the Cape with my husband and two children, family and friends.
