WELCOME TO CHATHAM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!
Chatham Elementary School, located in beautiful Chatham, Massachusetts on the elbow of Cape Cod, invites you to take some time to enjoy our web site and gain an understanding of what we achieve as a school community.
Our school welcomes nearly 300 students each day, from preschool through Grade Four. With a dedicated faculty and a wide range of support staff, our goal is to help students achieve their full potential as they begin their quest to become life-long learners. We foster a culture of respect and responsibility, and the academic and social growth of our children is celebrated on a daily basis.
Each year, students look forward to the Halloween Parade, the “December in our Town” production, our annual Talent Show, and the exciting events of Field Day. Students are offered the opportunity to participate in after-school clubs ranging from drama to science. Chorus and Instrumental lessons are offered after school, and our older students are invited to join the Chatham Lightfoots, a nationally recognized jump rope performance group.
Teachers embrace collaborative planning and serve on committees that advance academic and social opportunities for all students. Students benefit in all academic areas, including math, language arts, science, and the visual and performing arts.
Monomoy Regional School District welcome students from surrounding communities to join our highly regarded learning community through our School Choice Program. If you are interested in having your child participate in all we have to offer, feel free to come to our school office at 147 Depot Road in Chatham to fill out an application. While School Choice students join our program in September only, applications can be submitted at any time, up to May 1 of each year.
Thank you for visiting our site, and we hope your experience is informative.
